Disney Princess What They Would Look Like in Real Life
Most young kids' first role models come from Disney animated films. Especially when it came to the princesses. Many dreamed of being swept off their feet by a handsome prince or going on a grand adventure to find oneself.

Each Disney princess is unique on their own with their own story to tell. Not only were their stories popular but so were their dazzling looks. While princesses had many jealous of their beauty, many wondered if they translated to real life. Graphic designer Jirka Vinse Jonatan Väätäinen took care of that inquiry.
10 Mulan
Many young girls looked up to the powerful message that was portrayed in Mulan.A young female of Asian descent embarks on a journey into army posing as a man to save her father and her country. The film showcased Asian tradition and beauty.
The real-life character art portrayed a lot of the facial characteristics that had the audience fall in love with Mulan (Ming-Na Wen). The art shows her berry-colored lips and soft features. It also shows her long dark hair that often had to be hidden while training in the army.
9 Cinderella
Cinderella (Ilene Woods) is an elegant and graceful beauty that captured audiences' hearts back in 1950. She had beautiful golden blonde hair, fair skin and dazzling blue eyes. It's no wonder that Prince Charming fell for her at first glance.
The character art does the animated version justice and perfectly brings to life the famous princess. It showcases her angular jaw and pouted rosy lips. There's a sense of delicateness to her. Unlike the animated version, her hair color is more of a highlighted golden-blonde instead of one solid color.
8 Esmeralda (The Hunchback Of Notre Dame)
Esmeralda (Salma Hayek) is not a princess by title but she became favorite for her courage and bravery. In the film, she is a gypsy who is often ridiculed but finds it in her to not let others get to her. She, more importantly, stands up for those who can't for themselves. Esmeralda's looks are striking with her vibrant emerald eyes.
She also has a darker and flawless complexion with gorgeous brown locks anyone would be envious of. The character art portrayed her overall look impeccably. Sadly, in real life striking emerald eyes like in the film don't exist. Instead, the artist settled for a more muted aqua green.
7 Jane (Tarzan)
Jane (Minnie Driver) is one of the more posh princesses seeing as she grew up in a socialite life in England. Her status doesn't determine her caring and moral nature. She falls in love with Tarzana and helps his family from explorers hoping to capture them.
When audiences first meet Jane, she is in typical garments of the time period. But in reality, she's a natural and soft beauty. The art shows Jane with green eyes and a petite nose she's known for. She also has rosy lips and upturned mouth corners. One can see why Tarzan was mesmerized by her.
6 Elsa & Anna (Frozen)
Two sisters who deeply love each other but grew up with different circumstances. Elsa (Idina Menzel) has special powers that she had to keep hidden until one day she "Let It Go." Her look plays a lot into her powers. She has a much more fair complexion and ice blonde hair. The art imitates Elsa perfectly.
It even got the smirk right. Anna (Kristen Bell), on the other hand, is sweet at heart. In both the art and animated version, Anna has rosy cheeks and kind blue eyes. Her hair is also ginger and radiates warmth. Her smile isn't as mischievous as her sisters.
5 Ariel (The Little Mermaid)
No one has flaming red hair like Ariel (Jodi Benson) in The Little Mermaid. It's one of her most defining physical features, besides the mermaid tail. Ariel has this air of innocence that can be seen in her physical characteristics.
It may be the big blue eyes or her soft and youthful face. The character art captured this idea of innocence with her sparkly blue eyes. It also brought to life her iconic red hair. It also captured her ruby red lips and added more dimension to her cheekbones.
4 Moana
Moana became a Disney success and a princess that resonated with many young audiences for its accurate portrayal of Polynesian culture. Fans praised Disney for the character's psychical features that showcased common aspects of the Polynesian people.
Moana (Auliʻi Cravalho) has tanned skin, rosy cheeks, full cheeks and big adventurous eyes. In the animated version, looking closely one can see Moana's red cheeks and nose. The art also depicted her long and full wavy hair that would gracefully blow in the ocean wind. Moana is certainly a natural and fearless beauty.
3 Belle (Beauty & The Beast)
Belle (Paige O'Hara) enchanted fans because of her intellect and smarts that made villagers wary of her. The villagers couldn't deny that Belle was a graceful and striking beauty. The live-action version cast Emma Watson for the role.

But looking at the real-life character art, Belle looks more youthful. The animated version looks more mature while the art gives her softer features and a more whimsical look to her eyes. Regardless, the art did well at showcasing the beauty in Beauty & the Beast.
2 Jasmine (Aladdin)
The graphic designer, Väätäinen, created two versions of the princess Jasmine (Linda Larkin) fromAladdin. One in 2011 and the other in 2017. Both versions hold similar characteristics that had young audiences clamoring to dress like her for Halloween.
Both versions capture her big almond-shaped brown eyes. One version is based more on Jasmine's traditional aqua blue look with gold jewelry and her pinned back hair. No one can deny that Jasmine's hair was a topic of envy. Both versions also did a swell job of capturing her almost daring gaze.
1 Pocahontas
The Native American princess, Pocahontas (Irene Bedard) is one of Väätäinen newest works created in 2020. Unlike the other art, Väätäinen recreated one of the film's iconic scenes. The scene where Pocahontas sings "Colors of the Wind."
Pocahantas was not only a beauty but had smarts, witts and had courage. The art did a stupendous job of bringing to life Pocahantas Native American features highlighted with a rosy complexion. There is also a natural movement to her long hair in the wind. Anyone can see the emotion behind her eyes.
